D'Tigers in Group A to face D'Tigers to face Senegal, Uganda, and Mali in Lagos.

The FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments draw is now complete with the group stage.

The draw indicates that the initial route taken by each of the 40 participating nations to Paris 2024 has been established. 

Those nations that will not be participating in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2023 will have the chance to compete in the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments.

Each FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament's champion will line up at one of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in July, winning a spot in Paris 2024.

The dedicated host nations will hold the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments from August 12 to 20.

The FIBA World Men's Ranking were used to create seeding pots for the tournament draws.

The Group Phase is set for Lagos, Nigeria as D'Tigers are set to play in front of their home fans for the first time.

D'Tigers are in group A and will face Mali, Uganda, and Senegal.

In Group B, Cameroon will take on Guinea, Tunisia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Stars such as Phoenix Suns guard Josh Okogie,  Sacramento Kings forward Chimezie Metu, Jordan Nwora of the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors big man Precious Achiuwa will be available for selection.

The best team will advance to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments for the following season by crossing Groups A & B and Groups C & D.

The five FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments will take place between August 12 and August 20, 2023, and the five champions will receive invitations to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in July 2024.
