Nigeria's senior men's basketball team known as D'Tigers aims to bounce back following their failure to qualify for the 2023 FIBA Men's World Cup.

The team will have a chance to begin their qualification process for the Men's basketball event of the 2024 Olympics scheduled for Paris.

D'Tigers list for FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament games

The NBBF revealed a list of 15 players of home-based players and foreign stars to participate in the FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament games.

The team will be led by new Phoenix Suns forward Chimezie Metu as captain.

Players invited include EJ Anosike, Ike Ndugba, Michael Eric, Mike NUGA, Kaodirichi Akonbundu- Ehiohu and Ibe Agu.

Others are Michael Daramola, Daniel Utomi, Warith Alatishe, Godwin Omenaka, UC Iroegbu. Victor Ezeh. Kanyinsola Odufuwa and Micahel Okiki.

The team will be led by Head Coach Ogoh Odaudu after he led the home-based team to finish eighth at the recently concluded AFROCAN championship.
