Monster Femi Adebayo performance helps Miami Heat beat Atlanta Hawks.

The Miami Heat recorded a 117-109 victory against the Atlanta Hawks in an NBA fixture played in the early hours of Sunday, March 5, 2023.

The Heat on the second night of a back-to-back came into the game on a two-game losing streak.

In a back-and-forth first quarter, the Heat were able to establish a three-point lead.

The Heat put up 37 points in the second quarter to record a 17-point lead going to the halftime break.

The Hawks led by point guard Tare Young started off a comeback in the third quarter cutting the lead down to 13 points.

Both sides traded buckets in the fourth quarter as the Heat held on to record an eight-point victory.

Vincent retained his spot in the starting lineup and featured for 32 minutes against the Hawks.

Gabe Vincent shines for Heat

Nigerian-American professional basketball player Gabriel Nnamdi Vincent was impressive in the Heat's victory against the Hawks.

Vincent retained his spot in the starting lineup and featured for 32 minutes against the Hawks.

He put up nine points, two rebounds, and three assists. Vincent struggloed with his shot, making just three of 10.

All three made shots were from three-point range but he was a positive five according to the Heat's net rating.

Adebayo comes up big for Miami Heat

American professional basketball player Femi "Bam" Adebayo came up big for the Heat in the victory against the Hawks.

In 36 minutes of action, Adebayo recorded 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out five assists to go with one steal and two blocks.

He made 10 of his 12 shots and missed just two of 12 from the free throw line in a monster performance.

Adebayo after the game in an interview with Bally Sports Florida explained how his team came out to defeat the Hawks after a buzzer-beater loss to the New York Knicks the day before.

Adebayo recorded 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out five assists to go with one steal and two blocks.

He said, "We got perseverance, we got resilience uh you know one thing about this team man is it's hard for us to just let go on the rope man uh that's one thing I love about my team.

'We all we always keep our optimistic mindset and positive vibe so you know just keep chipping this might be a domino to you know run off a couple more. 

'We've been saying it all year man when we get stops and runs you know that's when that's when we feel like we're a great team that's when we feel like we can compete with anybody."

Adebayo returns to action with the Heat against the Hwaks in an Eastern Conference match-up scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
