Nigeria's Tobi Amusan believes its possible to break her World Record and running sub-12s is an achievable goal.
World champion Tobi Amusan has stated that it's not impossible to break her 100m Hurdles World Record (WR) again.
The Nigerian made history at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon, where she sped to a jaw-dropping time of 12.12s to win the women's 100m Hurdles world title, breaking the previous WR of 12.20s in the process.

By doing this, Amusan became Nigeria's first outdoor world champion and record holder in history and has attained several accomplishments since the historic feat.
In a post on the World Athletics Instagram page, where she was shown training and preparing for the Golden Spikes meet in Ostrava, the caption read a statement by Amusan declaring she can still break her WR.
"I’m a big believer in the Bible, nothing is impossible, and 11 seconds? Most definitely,” it read.
If she successfully does this, the Ijebu-Ode native will become the first woman ever to run a sub-12s time in the women's 100m Hurdles, which would be an unarguable claim to the greatest of all time in the event.
Amusan will race against some of the world's best hurdlers in Ostrava, such as long-time rival Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, former world champion Nia Ali, and US sensation Tia Jones.

World champion Tobi Amusan has tough competitors she will be facing this week at the Golden Spikes Meet in Ostrava and Lausanne Diamond League.
She will be gunning to build on her convincing win at the Racers Grand Prix and for a revenge victory against them for the first time this season, as they've handed her losses in their previous races this year.
Three days after Amusan will compete against them again at the Lausanne Diamond League, where she'll be kicking off her Diamond League season in her quest to successfully defend her title.
