World 100mH Record holder Tobi Amusan will know her fate on January 19 as fixed by the CAS.

Nigeria's hurling queen, Tobi Amusan will know her fate on January 19, as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has fixed the date as the hearing for her case with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

Amusan's case with the AIU began when it was reported the 100m Hurdles World Record (WR) holder had been provisionally suspended for committing an anti-doping violation rule of missing three whereabouts tests.

She will later claim her innocence and take the case to the Disciplinary Tribunal, where she was cleared of such offense and permitted to continue running.

However, the AIU and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will later challenge this decision of the Disciplinary Tribunal and made it known they'll be taking it to the CAS.

While the AIU filed its appeal on September 15, 2023, WADA followed suit two days later, showing their desperation to find the Nigerian guilty.

With the CAS set to be the final decision maker, Amusan and her team will be hoping that everything works in her favour and she can finally be at peace competing without any external influence.

CAS hearings are not open to the public and are conducted in person, by video conference, or in a mixed format.
