Sade Olatoye threw her way into the history books at the Music City Challenge on Friday.
Sade Olatoye won the women's Weight Throw event at the Music City Challenge, throwing a huge Personal Best (PB) of 25.32m, which shattered her previous PB of 24.46m.
Her mark is a new Nigerian Record (NR) and propelled her to fifth-best in world history.

She had a series of very good throws, going over the 24m mark thrice, and led from the first attempt. The 25.32m came in the fifth and final round, confirming her current fantastic form.
Olatoye won the African title in the women's hammer throw and shot put events, at the African Championships in Mauritius, making her one of the best throwers in the continent at the moment.

Glory Nyenke competing for Middle Tennessee State University(MTSU), placed second in her 200m qualifying heat with a time of 24.67s.

Stephen Eloji, also of MTSU, competed in the men's 200m, posting a time of 21.74s.
Eastern Kentucky's Joy Nwokike clocked 25.71s in the women's 200m.
In the field events, Benjamin Onyekwelu leaped a distance of 7.49m in the men's long jump, while Esther Isa scaled a height of 1.64m in the women's high jump.
