According to reports, Grand Slam Track has cancelled its final meet in Los Angeles, originally set for June 28–29.
In unexpected news coming from Grand Slam Track commissioner Michael Johnson, the Los Angeles meet originally scheduled to hold June 28-29 has been canceled, reportedly due to several factors.
According to The Times, Johnson called an emergency meeting with athletes and their agents on Thursday morning amid concerns for the future of his Grand Slam Track series — only two months after its first event.

The result of the meeting as reported by frontofficesports.com, has ascribed the cancellation to a variety of factors.
“May postpone LA because of a new strategic partner/investor,” one source wrote in a direct message. “Geopolitical climate in LA also doesn’t help,” referring to the anti-ICE protests in the city where the federal government has deployed.
Another possible reason has been cited as poor lease agreement with UCLA.
The 2025 Grand Slam Track was set for four meets, with three cities already concluded in Kingston, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles (LA) was to be the final city for the season.
Johnson had announced the $30 million league last year, awarding $12.6 million in prize money in its first season.
