Five-time Olympic medallist Gabby Thomas climbed the corporate ladder a Board of Trustee of the Women Sports Foundation (WSF).
Paris Olympics triple gold medallist Gabby Thomas landed another major milestone in the corporate world by being named as one of the Board of Trustees of the Women Sports Foundation (WSF).
According to the press release by WSF, Thomas is among the seven new members welcomed to the Board of Trustees from a cross-sector of professionals on the heels of their 2024 50th anniversary.

“We are delighted to welcome Val, Stacey, David, Rachel, Alexander, Bill, and Gabby to the WSF Board of Trustees and are thrilled Scout will continue leading as the Foundation’s President in 2025,” said WSF CEO Danette Leighton.
“WSF’s 50th anniversary milestone served as a reminder that our vital mission is as important today as it was in 1974 with our latest research reports proving why sport is a must-have for all girls and women. Each member joining WSF’s Board brings a unique set of skills, perspectives, and experiences that will help guide us into the next 50 years by fueling our mission and deepening our impact as we work to get more girls and women in the game because when they play, they lead, and we all win.”
The sprint queen is one of the most respected and accomplished track athletes, with the highlight of her career coming at the Paris Olympic Games, where she won three gold medals (200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m).

In addition, Thomas graduated from Harvard University in 2019 with a degree in neurobiology and global health. Following graduation, she earned a master’s degree in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
She is an advocate for equity in sports and diversity in STEM fields, and uses her platform to encourage young people, especially young women of color, to pursue careers in science and technology.
