ATHLOS NYC 2025: Brittany Brown sweeps sprint titles with winning prize of $120,000

After the disappointment of not medalling at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships, Brittany Brown bounced back in grand style to sweep the sprint titles at ATHLOS NYC 2025 and walk home with the prize money of $120,000.
The American sprint queen first claimed the 100m victory in a brilliant time of 10.99s, edging Jacious Sears at the line in 11.01s, while Kayla White was third in 11.22s.

Coming back less than an hour later in the 200m, Brown was unstoppable running down the bend into the homestretch, as she stormed to her second win on the night, clocking a massive personal best of 21.89s to defend her ATHLOS title from last year.

With her time, the Paris Olympics 200m bronze medallist also broke the Icahn Stadium record set by the legendary Veronica Campbell-Brown.
By claiming both titles, Brown earned the prize money of $120,000, generated from $60,000 each for winning the respective events.

In addition, her ATHLOS titles add to her Diamond League 200m title, which activated her spot to compete at the World Championships in Tokyo after the withdrawal of Gabby Thomas.
