What comes next?

The next Grand Slam begins in three weeks, with Alcaraz keen to retain the title he won as a 20-year-old in 2023, while Swiatek aims to win The Championships for the first time.

Both players are expected to represent their countries at the Olympics in Paris, and it remains to be seen how they handle the swift crossover to grass before returning to clay at the Paris Olympics.
