The Super Falcons of Nigeria played out a 0-0 draw against the Les Verts of Algeria in their final group game of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Head Coach Justin Madugu made several changes to the team that already booked their place in the knock out stage.

The front line of Asisat Oshoala, Rinsola Babajide and Rasheedat Ajibade were all rested for the quarterfinals.
Ifeoma Onumonu and Francisca Ordega and Chiwendu Ihezuo were given the opportunity to lead the attack.
The Algerians who were held to a 0-0 draw by the Les Aigles of Tunisia in their last outing defended in packs.
The North African frustrated the Super Falcons who were able to produce 24 shots without a goal.
Ihezuo who scored in both games against Tunisia and Botswana fired blanks and was replaced by Babajide.
The Super Falcons would settled for a draw which will see them top the group with seven points.
In the other group game, Botswana defeated Tunisia 2-1 but finished in third as Algeria grabbed second place.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria will now take on Zambia in the quarterfinals of the WAFCON.
