No place like home - Tosin Adarabioyo celebrates visit to Nigeria
Chelsea FC defender Tosin Adarabioyo has celebrated a homecoming to Nigeria on vacation.
The 27-year-old center-back, born in London to Nigerian parents, recently concluded a visit to his ancestral homeland.
Upon his return to the country, he was greeted with an outpouring of love and cultural pride.
While in Nigeria, he had high-profile meetings with the Oba of Lagos and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He also organized a youth football tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
The visit also featured heartwarming interactions with local children who were wearing Chelsea kits with Adarabioyo’s name and number.

He took to his official social media platforms to celebrate the visit.
Along with photos of his visit was a message that said, "The love was real. The welcome was deep.
"Nigeria — thank you for embracing me.
"There’s truly no place like home."
His visit to Nigeria came on the heels of Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain to win the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Following his visit and his Yoruba roots several football fans have called on him to join the Super Eagles, amid speculation that he might switch his international allegiance from England to Nigeria.
