Ahead of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi visited the camp of Nigeria’s U-17 football team, the Golden Eaglets.

The U-17 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place between April 29 and May 15 in the Algerian cities of Algiers, Constantine, and Annaba.

The visit is intended to motivate the Golden Eaglets as they prepare for the U-17 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Confirming the visit, Ndidi announced the visit on his Instagram handle and posted the video.

“About 90 players who have passed the MRI will resume in camp on Wednesday. Thereafter, the number will be trimmed down to 60 after the official MRI is conducted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

“I am greatly satisfied with the number of talents seen so far. I have a pool of athletes to choose from but talent in itself is no longer enough. The talent has to be utilized, trained, and go through the requirement to produce results in the game,” he told NAN

Ndidi has played 47 times for the Nigerian Super Eagles.

Ndidi is presently in the Super Eagles camp ahead of the AFCON 2024 qualifying matches between Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau in Abuja.
