Former Chelsea player Baba Rahman found himself in a dire situation after a harrowing collision on the field, leaving him unconscious and in danger.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that the incident happened during a pulsating Greek Cup semifinals between PAOK and Panathinaikos.

A PAOK spokesman revealed the alarming incident, stating, "Baba lost consciousness after an aerial clash of heads, and his tongue was also twisted - with the player in real danger," per a report from the Sun.

The Ghanaian left-back, who endured a difficult spell at Chelsea after his £22 million move from German side Augsburg in 2015, faced a frightening ordeal during the match.

Despite Rahman's limited success at Chelsea, where he made only 23 appearances in one season before embarking on a series of loan spells, including stints with Schalke, Reims, Mallorca, and Reading, the 29-year-old has continued his career journey.

Tamale-born Rahman has 51 international caps for Ghana and helped PAOK secure the Greek Cup during a loan spell in 2021. This season, he has been a pivotal figure for PAOK, making 18 appearances and netting three goals.
