Former Manchester United Patrice Evra has bluntly told Wayne Rooney to "stop being a manager," citing his struggles in various coaching roles.

Rooney has faced challenges in his managerial career, with stints at Derby, D.C. United, Birmingham, and Plymouth ending in disappointment.

Evra shared his candid opinion on ShootforLoveYT during a discussion with Park Ji-sung, pointing out that Rooney's departure from his managerial roles often coincides with his teams' subsequent improvement.

He said, "That's why they [Birmingham] get relegated. I said: 'No, please stop being a manager, it's not for you'. And he keeps going somewhere and gets sacked again and when he leaves, they win."

Evra's advice comes as Rooney navigates his post-playing career, with his managerial endeavours so far failing to match his on-field success.

Rooney remains open to new opportunities, but for now, he's enjoying his role as a pundit.
