Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has heaped praise on Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, calling his performances "not normal" for a 17-year-old.

Yamal's impressive display in Barcelona's 3-3 draw with Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-final first leg has drawn widespread attention.

Saka told Sky Sports, "He's top. Doing what he's doing at his age, what can you say, it's unreal... It's not normal. No-one does it."

Yamal's record-breaking feat includes becoming the youngest-ever scorer in the last four of UEFA's top club competition.

Saka refused to compare himself to Yamal or other top wingers, saying, "I don't like to put myself in these types of conversations... I just play my own games and leave it to people to have their own opinions."

He added, "When they're not playing against me, I love watching them play."

With Arsenal out of the Premier League title race, Saka emphasised the team's focus on the Champions League semi-final against PSG.

“You can't assess the season until it's finished. We need to think about the semi-final to get there, Bournemouth first and then to Paris next week to turn it around.

"Of course, it's a dream. But like I said, the only thing you can focus on right now is winning here [at Arsenal]. Everything else will come after."

Lamine Yamal has made history by becoming the second teenager to score in the last 16, quarter-final, and semi-final within a single Champions League campaign.

He follows in the footsteps of Kylian Mbappé, who achieved this feat in the 2016-17 season while playing for Monaco.

Yamal's record-breaking goal in the semi-final first leg against Inter Milan not only showcased his exceptional talent but also cemented his place as the youngest scorer in a Champions League semi-final at 17 years and 291 days old, surpassing Mbappé's record of 18 years and 140 days.
