‘We’re right behind you all the way’ — Super Falcons send message of support to Super Eagles ahead of AFCON semifinal

As the Super Eagles prepare for a defining AFCON 2025 semi-final showdown with hosts Morocco, support has arrived from a familiar and powerful source.

The Super Falcons have sent a heartfelt message of encouragement, reinforcing a shared Nigerian belief ahead of tonight’s clash.

In the tense buildup to the semi-final, the Super Falcons released a video message on X aimed directly at the Super Eagles, telling their counterparts, “Let’s go, Super Eagles. We’re right behind you all the way,” a line that quickly struck a chord with fans across the country.

The video featured some of the biggest names in Nigerian football, including current captain Rasheedat Ajibade led the support, joined by legendary forward Asisat Oshoala, iconic defender Ashleigh Plumptre, and star goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, all offering words of encouragement and belief.

Crucially, the Super Falcons speak from experience. They know what it means to overcome Morocco on Moroccan soil, having edged the hosts 3–2 in the final of the 2024 WAFCON to secure a record-extending 10th continental title.

That memory adds extra belief to their message as the Super Eagles face a similar challenge.

Nigeria now turn their full focus to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, where the kickoff is set for 9:00 PM West Africa Time.

The Super Eagles arrive in Rabat as the tournament’s most prolific attacking side, having scored 14 goals in five matches, a testament to their evolution under the Franco-Malian coach.

However, this semi-final represents their toughest test yet. A hostile home crowd awaits, and the Eagles must cope without suspended captain Wilfred Ndidi.

Still, with the backing of the Super Falcons and millions of Nigerians, belief remains strong that the Eagles can rise to the occasion.
