Pep Guardiola remained enigmatic during his post-match press conference and expressed less than complete satisfaction with his squad, as reported by Sportal.

“We have too many players. Today, Rodri, Foden, Kovacic, and Savio weren't in the squad, while Ake and Gundogan were left on the bench.

"I like having depth for all competitions, but I don't want anyone to feel excluded – it's hard to create healthy competition and a fighting spirit under these circumstances.

"The club has known about this since last season, yet the situation remains unchanged. In the coming weeks, we'll talk to the players and their agents to find a solution. We need to trim the squad; otherwise, maintaining team morale will be difficult,” Guardiola stated.

Furthermore, Guardiola and his team didn't win any silverware, and the manager will likely look to optimize his squad to return to winning ways.
