[Watch]: Victor Osimhen’s unbelievable jump to score incredible goal for Napoli

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was back in fine form as reigning Serie A champions Napoli returned to winning ways against Monza.

Napoli came into the match needing a win to rejuvenate their season and put them back in position as they continue to push for European football next season.

I Partenopei, who had won only one of their last five games, suffered setback early on in the game, as it took only nine minutes for Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Milan Djuric to put Monza in front.

However, Victor Osimhen had other ideas. The Super Eagles striker leaped an astonishing height to head home a Frank Anguissa cross to draw Napoli level. It is this unbelievable header that has become the talk of the town on social media.

Recall that last season, Osimhen broke Cristiano Ronaldo’s jump record (2.56 metres) when he climbed 2.58 metres to score in a 3-0 victory over Spezia, according to Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Napoli).  

Victor Osimhen was heavily criticised after firing blank in Napoli's last game - an embarrassing 0-3 defeat to Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta.

However, Osimhen buried all doubt - rising astonishingly high to drag Npoli back in the game with his 12th league goal of the season.

The former Lille man jumped so high that he landed on his face and required medical attention before he could continue the game.
