Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has landed in Istanbul, Turkey, ahead of his proposed move to the Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
Pulse Sports reported that the 25-year-old star will join Galatasaray on a season-long loan. The agreement was reached several hours ago, but with some details still to work out, the player stayed back at Napoli. He has now travelled to Turkey to finalise the deal, with video footage of his reception making the rounds.

Details of the deal
According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Turkish giants have agreed to cover the Nigerian striker's whopping €12.8 million annual salary in its entirety for the duration of his one-year loan deal.
However, Fabrizio Romano suggests a slightly lower figure, with Galatasaray reportedly committing to around €9-10 million of Osimhen's wages—a sum comparable to his current Napoli earnings and significantly more than Chelsea's proposed offer.
To facilitate this move, Osimhen has inked a contract extension with Napoli, ensuring the Partenopei can safeguard his market value, as revealed by Pulse Sports. Notably, the new agreement includes a €75 million release clause, potentially paving the way for a future transfer.
