Ikorodu City Football Club is stepping into the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) with a brand new look as the club recently unveiled a redesigned logo, marking a new chapter and a stronger visual identity that embodies its values and goals.
Founded in 2022, Ikorodu City has had a meteoric rise after just three seasons in the Nigeria National League (NNL), they secured promotion to the top flight.
According to the club, the new chapter is accompanied by a fresh visual identity, designed to communicate what the club stands for.

The new logo isn't a complete overhaul. The club's signature colors and the iconic hunter statue remain prominent features.

However, the design has been modernised with a new font, the incorporation of their founding date, and possibly a change in the crest shape.
The rebranding signifies Ikorodu City's commitment to making a strong impression in the NPFL. The new logo is a visual representation of their ambition and a way to connect with fans on a deeper level.

Meanwhile, Ikorodu City FC will begin its NPFL preparation with the Valuejet preseason tournament in Ikene.

One of the participants, 19-time champions of the Sudanese league Al Merrikh Sporting Club, has arrived in Nigeria for the Preseason tournament.
The ValueJet Cup is a rapidly growing pre-season tournament sponsored by ValueJet Airline and is set to return for its third edition in Nigeria.
Designed to provide valuable preparation for clubs ahead of the upcoming season, the ValueJet Cup also aims to strengthen the overall health of Nigerian football.
This year's tournament kicks off on July 24th and will see eight teams battle it out, for a place in the final on July 31st.
