In an MLS match in Fort Lauderdale, Inter Miami and Charlotte FC played a 1-1 tie draw thanks to a goal by Lionel Messi in the second half.
After winning five straight games from July 17 to September 14, Miami played to a draw for the third time in a row.
After a first half without a goal, Karol Swiderski put Charlotte up in the 57th minute.
In the 67th minute, Messi made it 1-1 with a laser-like drive from outside the box that eluded diving Charlotte goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina.

Messi currently trails Luis Suarez by two goals for the team lead after scoring his 15th goal of the season.
Additionally, it marked Messi's third goal in four games since his comeback after a two-month absence due to an ankle ailment.
In the 75th minute, Miami looked to have won a penalty as it attempted to take the lead, but after additional review, the call was reversed.
The game ended in a draw an Messi continues to ramp up as they prepare for the MLS playoffs.
