Victor Wembanyama and Louis Vuitton: NBA star becomes new ambassador for luxury brand
The most anticipated rookie in recent NBA history, Victor Wembanyama, is collaborating with his homegrown company Louis Vuitton.
Victor Wembanyama has experienced a lot of firsts this season. The 7'4" rookie from the Spurs, who was chosen first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, is halfway through his rookie campaign.
After competing in the Rising Stars Challenge during his first All-Star Weekend, he was quite busy off the court as well.
The 20-year-old becomes the newest ambassador for the French luxury brand, Louis Vuitton.
A statement by the brand on social media said, "Victor Wembanyama for Louis Vuitton. The Maison and Men's Creative Director @Pharrell are pleased to welcome rising basketball star @wemby as a House Ambassador — continuing Louis Vuitton's longstanding commitment to sports."

When Wemby, was playing for the Metropolitans 92 in Paris, creating unprecedented hype in NBA circles last year the two parties started speaking.
Therefore, Victor Wembanyama hired Vuitton to complete the vital duty of constructing his suit in time for the NBA Draft.
Wemby's deep-green, double-breasted suit fit him perfectly, and the draft suit was a hit.
Wembanyama has primarily stayed with sweatsuits during his rookie season thus far, the majority of which expose a few inches of ankle.
This is because, at 7'4" and 210 pounds, it is difficult to dress off the rack.
He will now be working for one of the most recognizable houses in France.
