Victor Osimhen's former club Lille celebrated with the Super Eagles striker after he was crowned the Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) Footballer of the Year.

Pulse Sports reported that Victor Osimhen has been crowned the Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) Footballer of the Year.

The 24-year-old Super Eagles of Nigeria striker won the award of Monday night, after helping Napoli to a historic Scudetto in the 2022-23 campaign.

The AIC awards, which began in 1968, include several notable accolades, including the team of the year, coach of the year, club of the year and goal of the season.
