Van Nistelrooy parts ways with Ndidi's Leicester two months after relegation
The Ex-Man Utd striker was appointed manager at King Power Stadium in November 2024, but he failed to help the club avoid relegation.
The club has not yet announced a shortlist of potential replacements, though names like Sean Dyche and Danny Rohl have been under consideration.

Van Nistelrooy, who succeeded Steve Cooper, managed only five wins in 27 Premier League matches.Leicester made unwanted history as the first top-flight club to go nine consecutive home games without scoring.
They were relegated with five matches to spare, finishing 10 points from safety.
In a statement, Leicester City said: "Ruud navigated a difficult period for the club. Appointed in November 2024, he managed with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to our goals.
"He also gave several academy players first-team opportunities. Ruud leaves with the club’s respect, gratitude for his dedication, and best wishes for his future."
