Haaland substituted despite UCL milestones
It was the first time the Norwegian had scored five in a game in his senior career, and he joined Lionel Messi as the only players in UCL history to have scored five goals in a single knockout game.
He also became the fastest player to score 30 goals, reaching the milestone in his 25th match in the competition.

Haaland also became the first player in Manchester City’s history to score 39 goals in all competitions, despite having a huge chunk of the season ahead of him.
Yet all these achievements did not phase Guardiola who substituted the big Norwegian after only 63 minutes, denying him the chance to score a rare double hat-trick
