Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: British heavyweight showdown gets closer
Three months after declaring his retirement, Tyson Fury has resorted to social media to hint at a possible comeback to the ring.
Since suffering a second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December, the former world heavyweight champion has not competed.
A few weeks later, he posted a brief Instagram video announcing his retirement.
Fury returned six months after claiming to have retired in 2022 to take fight Derek Chisora for a third time.
Therefore, it is unclear if he will make another appearance. With both fighters coming off of high-profile losses, rumors of a battle versus Anthony Joshua have persisted.
Fury hinted that he was planning a second comeback on his Instagram story on Monday.
After working out in the gym, he was drenched in sweat when his trainer, SugarHill Steward, joined him.
It occurs only a few weeks after Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, stated that despite Fury's retirement, a fight between the two might still take place.
