Fisayo joined Lazio permanently in July 2024 from Turkish side Hatayspor, following a successful loan spell during the 2023/24 season, after Lazio triggered the purchase option in his contract.

The Nigeria international went on to score five goals across all competitions in the 2024/25 season, helping Lazio secure Europa League qualification via a sixth-place Serie A finish, which has placed him on the radar of a number of top clubs.

Premier League newcomers Sunderland and Europa League side Nottingham Forest are both monitoring Dele-Bashiru’s situation closely, with the midfielder viewed as an attainable option capable of providing athleticism and goal threat.

Both clubs remain abreast of Lazio’s willingness to negotiate, despite Fisayo’s contract running until 2028, but Trabzonspor currently lead the race due to their advanced talks. Lazio are prepared to sanction a sale if their financial demands are met, as they continue restructuring their squad.
