Trent Alexander-Arnold has won the battle of the best right-back in the Premier League against Reece James, after his outstanding display against Manchester City.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was the star performer for Jurgen Klopp's team as they drew with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

A later stunner in the 80th minute from the Liverpool defender ensured the match ended in a stalemate after Manchester City took the lead through Erling Haaland's sumptuous finish midway through the first half.

His general display in the match was the opposite of expectations of most rival fans, who before the match felt that City's right winger Jeremy Doku would get the better of him and asserted that Chelsea right-back Reece James was the better player amongst the two in the Premier League.
