PSG monitor Manchester United captain ahead of sensational summer move
Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer dealings are set to continue this summer with the French giants have turned their attention to another key Manchester United player, Bruno Fernandes.

According to the French publication L’Equipe, PSG are interested in signing the Portuguese midfielder, who has been a crucial figure for Manchester United since his arrival in January 2020, and was officially named the club captain in 2023.
Earlier this year, The Independent reported that Bayern Munich were also interested in Fernandes, citing his "frustrations" with Manchester United as a potential leverage point. The report suggested that Bayern believed they could convince Fernandes to join their project.

Additionally, there was an indication that the United hierarchy might be open to a deal, should the right offer come along and this could intrigue PSG, who have the resources to make a move.
Bruno Fernandes’ Manchester United career so far
On 29 January 2020, Manchester United confirmed the signing of Bruno Fernandes on a five-year contract from Sporting for up to €80 million with an initial fee of around €55 million and additional bonuses.

He made his debut on 1 February in a goalless draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers and quickly made his mark on the Premier League, earning him the Premier League Player of the Month in his first month at Manchester United.
Fernandes also became the first player to win both Premier League Player of the Month and Goal of the Month simultaneously and crowned his first season at Manchester United by winning the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award, despite only playing half of the 2020/21 season.

Fernandes continued his excellent performances for the club and scored his 50th goal for United in only his second season, while also becoming the top assist provider in the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League. In the following seasons, Fernandes was named club captain, and led the team to an EFL Cup and FA Cup victories, culminating in winning the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award three times.
