Excited for the Challenge
Iheanacho expressed his enthusiasm about the move, citing the talented young players at CD Mafra and his eagerness to contribute.
"I see a lot of potential here, and I'm excited to start the season and develop my skills further."
The Nigerian began his football journey at FC Hearts Academy before moving to FC Midtjylland last year. His impressive tally of 19 goals in 30 matches for the youth team, including a stunning four-goal haul in a league cup game, shows he is a big talent.
The arrival of Stanley Iheanacho is a positive development for both the player and the club.
CD Mafra hopes to leverage his goal-scoring potential, while Iheanacho has the opportunity to establish himself as a vital part of the team and propel them towards their goals in the Portuguese league.
Iheanacho will now join his new teammates for pre-season training as they gear up for their league opener against Paços Ferreira on August 8th.
