Transfer News: Big spending Arsenal agree €52 Million deal to sign new defender
Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Bayer Leverkusen center back Piero Hincapie on an initial loan deal.
The Gunners have been in the market for a new defender as they prepare for the departure of Jakub Kiwior, who is set to join Porto in a deal worth up to €27 million.

While Cristhian Mosquera was brought in to provide cover for William Saliba and Gabriel, Hincapie's arrival will offer additional depth to Arsenal's left side defense.
Reports vary on the specifics of the deal. The Athletic claims the agreement includes an option to buy, while Fabrizio Romano insists the purchase clause is mandatory.

Regardless of the exact terms, it is believed that Arsenal will pay an initial €6 million loan fee, with a further €46 million set aside for a permanent transfer next summer.
The 23-year-old is expected in London this weekend to complete his medical and finalize his contract. Although primarily a center back,
Hincapie's ability to also play as a left back provides another option for the team, especially if Oleksandr Zinchenko leaves before the Monday transfer deadline.
