Total domination is the target - Barcelona's coach reveals ambitions for the upcoming season
The German manager led his team with an impressive performance last season, winning the La Liga title in his first season.
He also led Barcelona to the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League, where the team was knocked out by Inter Milan.
To implement his plan, the manager has brought in new players for the new season, with Marcus Rashford being the latest signing for Barcelona.
What Flick said
Ahead of Thursday's friendly against South Korean club FC Seoul, German coach Hansi Flick of Spanish giants FC Barcelona clearly stated the club's ambitions.
"The goal is to win every trophy. Just like last season, we're going into every match aiming for victory." Flick, who extended his contract until 2027 after a successful debut season, wants to build on last year's dominance, according to ESPN, via Sportal.
The Catalans secured La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa del Rey, defeating Real Madrid in both cup finals.
"We believe we've improved the quality of the squad, but we have a long season ahead," said Flick, expressing confidence in the strengthened team.
He also highlighted the team's positive attitude and the need to adapt to challenging conditions during their Asian tour, where they face heat and high humidity in Seoul.
Flick's aim to replicate last year's trophy haul underscores his determination to keep Barcelona at the pinnacle of Spanish football throughout the demanding 2025/2026 season.
