Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has made Premier League history after winning his third Manager of the Month award in the 2023/24 season.

Postecoglou wins October Manager of the Month award

Postecoglou was named Premier League manager of the month for October, adding to awards he won in August and September.

After a sensational start to life in the Premier League with Tottenham, Postecoglou has become the first manager in the league’s history to be named Manager of the Month in his first three months.

He beat Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery, and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp to win the award for October.

Postecoglou matches Conte and Klopp

Postecoglou’s Tottenham side beat Luton Town, Crystal Palace, and Fulham to claim maximum points in October and finished the month on top of the Premier League table.

The Greek-Australian manager became the first Premier League coach to win the Manager of the Month award three times in a row since Jurgen Klopp did so between November 2019 and January 2020.

Only three other managers aside from Postecoglou have achieved the feat in Premier League history, including Klopp, Antonio Conte, and Pep Guardiola.

The Manchester City manager is the only one in the Premier League to win four awards in a row between September and December 2017.
