‘This monster is something else’- Arsenal fans react to Saliba’s performance against Man City
The French defender was at the heart of the defence for Arsenal in a thrilling 1-0 victory over last season’s Premier League champions.
Mikel Arteta's team was able to win thanks to a late goal from Gabriel Martinelli that took a nasty deflection and found the back of the net.
Another player who caught the eyes of the fans was Saliba and he has been praised for his impressive display during the game.
Arsenal fans reaction
Saliba finished the game with a passing accuracy of 97%, won all of his duels without committing any fouls and wasn't at all dribbled past.
The information that he played through the pain barrier at the Emirates Stadium has made his performance appear even more spectacular.
Saliba reportedly required an injection to be able to play due to a toe injury, according to Saber Desfarges as reported by the Sun.
