Harry Kane and Bayern Munich slayer Joselu not ready to discuss Real Madrid future
Real Madrid's Champions League semifinal hero against Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich Joselu is refusing to be drawn into discussions over his future, insisting his sole focus is on the "dream" final against Borussia Dortmund.
The 35-year-old on-loan striker etched his name into Los Blancos history books by coming off the bench to score twice late on against Bayern Munich, sealing a dramatic 4-3 aggregate victory on Wednesday.
Joselu on future after Bayern win
Joselu's stoppage-time winner sparked delirium at the Santiago Bernabeu as Real booked their place in the Wembley showpiece later this month.
But when quizzed on whether those heroics could lead to him earning a permanent contract, the former Stoke City man remained level-headed.
"I'm focusing on what happened tonight and the fact that we have a Champions League final to play in three weeks' time," Joselu stated per Tribal Football.
"There will be time to talk about the future. I want to be at 100% these coming weeks and then we'll discuss it."
The Spanish veteran is clearly intent on savouring the moment rather than looking too far ahead after his starring role in one of Europe's most iconic venues.
Joselu went on to hail the impact of the incredible Bernabeu atmosphere, which he believes helped inspire Real's jaw-dropping fightback.
"Unbeatable. It's a dream," he beamed. "We saw the Bernabeu in a certain way at the start of the season and we've seen it in a different light towards the end.
"The fans were a 15 out of 10, like the final we're playing. It's been a series of things that have taken us to where we are."

Joselu's brace ensured Real remain on course for an incredible 15th Champions League crown after the win against the spirited Bayern side complete with Kane and Jamal Musiala.
Carlo Ancelotti will no doubt lean on the experienced frontman's big-game mentality even if his future at the Bernabeu is uncertain beyond this season.
For now though, after writing his name into Madrid legend with his semifinal exploits, Joselu is perfectly content to put talks over a potential permanent stay on hold.
Living the dream is more than enough for the man who had a starring role in one of European football's most iconic comeback stories.
