However, he moved on loan to rivals Trabzonspor and has been a revelation since becoming a key player in the team.  

The towering forward has already netted seven goals in just nine appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.

What Engin said 

Speaking on the matter, former Turkish midfielder Sinan Engin voiced his disappointment with Abraham's impact and contrasted it with Onuachu's success.

"Besiktas was a better team last season. So why did they spend money on transfers?" Engin remarked, as reported by Beyaz Futbol.

"If they had continued with the same team and just signed one striker, but not Abraham. They should have signed a striker like Onuachu."

Istanbul giants Besiktas have struggled to meet expectations despite a summer spending spree exceeding €30 million.
