Nigerians react to Super Falcons' defeat

A lot of reactions have been hitting social media following the Super Falcons’ defeat to Brazil in their opening match of the Olympics.

The Super Falcons' performance was not what was expected of them as they failed to keep hold of possession.

Throughout the game, they were able to generate opportunities and had five shots on goal, with two of those being regarded as significant opportunities that could have been scored.

Only a few of the Super Falcons players performed well and deserve praise for their confidence and calmness during the game.

However, Nigerians did not hold back on their reservations for the players as they went hard slamming their display.

Following the loss, the Super Falcons will now focus on their remaining group game against World Cup winner Spain and Japan.
