The 33-year-old Uganda Cranes shot-stopper parted ways with KCCA FC on Saturday, 15th July, ending his second stint with the 13-time league champions. Ochan is linked to AFC Leopards in Kenya and SC Villa.

Mustapha Kizza

The 23-year-old roving wing-back was also released by KCCA FC, having joined the side in February this year. Kizza struggled to nail a starting berth due to injuries. He is linked to Vipers, URA FC, and a return to Europe.

Geoffrey Wasswa

Wasswa was one of the top performers at KCCA FC last season; the versatile defender parted ways with the club after his contract ran down.

He is linked to SC Villa, he also has suitors in Egypt and Ethiopia.

Emmanuel Loki

One of the break-through stars of last season, Loki was by far Soltilo Bright Stars’ player of the season.

He ran down his contract and hasn’t renewed it, but his aggressiveness and ability to score consistently make him a target for other clubs. Loki will most likely extend his stay at Soltilo Bright Stars but SC Villa, Vipers are also interested.

Allan Kayiwa

The Uganda Premier League top scorer last season hasn’t found a new home yet, his 13 goals guided the Red Eagles to a 10th-place finish, but many clubs across the region are vying for his signature. He is linked to Rayon Sports in Rwanda and SC Villa.

Enock Walusimbi

The Uganda Cranes international is back home after a brief stint with Scottish second-division side Peterhead United.

Walusimbi who captained Express FC to the Uganda Premier League and the CECAFA Kagame Cup a few seasons ago is weighing several options ahead of the new season. He is linked to SC Villa, Vipers, and a return to Europe.

Yasser Mugerwa

The creative midfield gem has been out of action since he left KCCA FC in July 2022; Mugerwa was nursing a knee injury but is now back to full fitness and available. He is linked to a return to Ethiopia and SC Villa.

Ibrahim Orit

The fast-paced winger parted ways with Vipers SC, having joined the Venoms from Mbarara City in 2020. His ability to beat opponents with pace makes him a target for other clubs. Orit is linked to a return back to Mbarara City and URA FC.

Brian Aheebwa.

The former Mbarara City forward parted ways with KCCA FC after running down his contract, he had limited game time during his three-year stay at Lugogo.

Denis Iguma

The versatile midfielder extended his stay at KCCA FC last season but left the club in July after both parties agreed to mutually terminate the contract, which had one more season left.

Nelson Ssenkatuka

The fast paced forward is also out of contract at Soltilo Bright Stars, Ssenkatuka hit the 50 goal mark in the league last season, a milestone few players can boast about. He is linked with extending his stay at Soltilo Bright Stars.
