Trent joined Real Madrid this summer after deciding not to renew his contract at Liverpool and opted for a new path.

The right-back moved to the Santiago Bernabéu from Liverpool, with Real Madrid reportedly paying a £10 million fee to secure his services in time for the Club World Cup.

The two know each other well from the English national team, and Bellingham stated that Alexander-Arnold has been welcomed to the team.

"He's really good, and the guys have welcomed him brilliantly because he's not just a fantastic player but a great person too.

"He's speaking a bit of Spanish now, which I think has impressed everyone in the squad. Everything is good; he's just enjoying himself.

"The pressure will be massive, but I've told him he's here for a reason and that he'll do great things for the club.

"He already believes it; he's confident. It's great to have him with us," said the Real Madrid midfielder, as quoted by Spanish media on Tuesday, via Sportal.
