Former Arsenal player Theo Walcott has praised the club's captain, Martin Odegaard, following his performance in Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
This win came after Arsenal suffered consecutive defeats to Aston Villa in the Premier League and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Walcott hails 'big game' Odegaard
Odegaard sealed the win with a superb finish in the 95th minute, beating Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa from a tight angle.
The goal came after Leandro Trossard had given Arsenal the lead in the 45th minute.
Theo Walcott, speaking on Sky Sports, praised Odegaard saying,
“Odegaard gets a bit of luck with the ball coming back to him but puts himself in that position he deserves it.
“He’s always involved in the big moments. Arsenal built their team around him and you can see why they did,” he said.
