With her move to Bay FC, Oshoala has been recognized as the most decorated African female football player in history.

Additionally, she has been nominated for the prestigious Pitch awards, aiming for a historic fourth win of the Queen of the Pitch award. 

Her competitors for the title include Rasheedat Ajibade of Atlético de Madrid Femenino and Chiamaka Nnadozie of Paris FC, both formidable talents in their own right.

Meanwhile, Oshoala has been making waves on social media, sharing glimpses of her vibrant personality during a night out in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Described as the "life of the party" Oshoala showcased her fashion sense, donning an all-black ensemble paired with white sneakers, gold accessories, and her signature pink low-cut.

"Ottawa, Ontario? Looks like someone's got jokes!" quipped fellow football star Kenneth Omeruo in a humorous comment on Oshoala's Instagram post.

Oshoala Makes Waves in Bay Area Soccer Scene

In a statement released by Bay FC, the club proudly announced their acquisition of Asisat Oshoala from FC Barcelona Femení, marking a significant transfer within the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Oshoala's departure from FC Barcelona comes after an illustrious five-year stint, during which she amassed an impressive record of 107 goals in 149 appearances.

Her time at the Spanish club saw her clinch two UEFA Women’s Champions League titles, four Spanish league titles, three Spanish Super Cups, and the Copa de la Reina.

"Bay FC is thrilled to welcome Asisat Oshoala to our roster. Her remarkable achievements in the world of women's soccer make her a valuable addition to our team," stated a club representative.
