Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has expressed her gratitude and pride after clinching her third consecutive CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award.
The Nigerian shot-stopper, now a three-time winner between 2023 and 2025, continues to reinforce her status as Africa’s most dominant force between the posts.

Nnadozie was honoured once again at the 2025 CAF Awards in Rabat, to complete a remarkable hat-trick. The 24-year-old took to her social media shortly after receiving the trophy, writing: “I am incredibly grateful and truly honored to receive this award.
“Being recognized for the 3rd time means a lot to me. This moment reflects countless hours of hard work. My sincere appreciation goes to my coaches and teammates, and to all the amazing people who helped me.”

Her latest triumph comes after an exceptional year at both club and international level. beating Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to the punch.
WAFCON heroics and Premier League rise underline her dominance
Nnadozie’s CAF hat-trick was powered by her extraordinary role in Nigeria’s record-extending 10th WAFCON title.
She kept four clean sheets, produced several match-winning saves, and was crowned the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper, the latest in a growing list of accolades for the Nigerian star.
Outside international football, Nnadozie helped Paris FC lift the Coupe de France Féminine, securing a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League,
In England, she made an instant impression by winning Player of the Match on her debut. Since then, she has earned nominations for WSL Save of the Month, PFA Fans’ Player of the Month, and now stands among the contenders for the prestigious 2025 Women’s Yachine Trophy.
