Victor Osimhen's hot streak came to a halt as the Nigerian striker failed to get on the scoresheet in Napoli's 1-1 draw with Torino.

Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that the in-form frontman could not add to his impressive tally after a lively individual display at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Friday night.

Osimhen caged for Napoli

Super Eagles striker Osimhen completed a game-high two dribbles and was the most fouled player, being upended on three occasions, as he led Napoli's charge.

But after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring for the hosts, Antonio Sanabria's equaliser one minute after coming off the bench denied Osimhen and the Serie A leaders all three points.

It means the former Lille man has now drawn a blank in back-to-back league games for the first time since December as his recent purple patch was interrupted.

The 25-year-old was his usual constant menace with his power and movement, though a combination of solid defending and a bad day at work meant he couldn't add to his 11 goals this season.
