The Super Eagles of Nigeria took to social media to honor the legacy of their late legend, Stephen Keshi known as "The Big Boss."
This comes a day after his remembrance, as Keshi died on June 7, 2016.
The post, featuring iconic images of Keshi lifting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy as both a player in 1994 and a coach in 2013.
Keshi’s journey with the Super Eagles involves playing for the Super Eagles and winning the AFCON in 1994 as captain.

Two decades later, in 2013, he returned as head coach, leading the team to a third AFCON triumph against Burkina Faso in a tense 1-0 final.
Along with the post was a message that said, "Today, we remember The Big Boss, As both a captain and coach, Keshi led the Super Eagles with passion, pride, and an unshakable belief in Nigerian talent.
"He guided Nigeria to its third Africa Cup of Nations title in 2013, becoming only the second person in history to win the tournament as both player and coach.
"His leadership inspired generations, and his vision helped elevate Nigerian football on the global stage.
"Forever in our hearts, forever a Super Eagle. 🦅"Rest in power, "Big Boss."
Keshi continues to be remembered after death as the Super Eagles and the Nigerian football community praised his impact.
