Substitute Lookman goes from hero to villain as Atalanta are dumped out of Europe by Onyedika’s Club Brugge

Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman thought he was about to lead a famous Atalanta comeback in the Champions League, but instead ended his team’s hopes of overturning the deficit against Club Brugge.

Returning from injury, Lookman scored after 35 seconds of coming off the bench for Atalanta, but then missed a penalty as La Dea fell to a 3-1 loss on the night and a 5-2 defeat on aggregate against Club Brugge.
