Stanbic Uganda Cup: Shaban too hot for Admin, sees KCCA through to the next Round
It was a Muhammad Shaban show as he bagged a Stanbic Uganda Cup brace to guide KCCA FC past Admin FC at the Mbale Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.
With a 2-0 victory, the Kasasiro Boys cruised into Round 32 of the prestigious competition.
Shaban opened his day's account with a well-taken strike in the 34th minute.
Seven minutes after the hour-mark, Shaban made it two for KCCA to complete his brace after brilliant work from substitute Emmanuel Loki.
His two Cup goals make it ten domestically, after the eight strikes in the Uganda Premier League. He also scored once against Abu Salim in the CAF Confederation Cup. earlier in the season
Meanwhile, among the other results of the day, Mbarara City FC were stunned by Synergy FC, with the latter winning 4-2 via post-match penalties, after a 1-1 draw at full-time.
Elsewhere, despite being away, Kyetume FC thrashed Fort City FC 4-1 to sail through the Round of 32 of the competition.
The case wasn't different from Young Lions FC, who beat Kireka United 3-1 to progress to the next stage.
