As the countdown to AFCON 2025 accelerates, the conversation around the tournament extends far beyond football.

AFCON 2025 is expected to draw between 600,000 and one million additional visitors to Morocco, a surge that includes far more than football supporters.

The tournament has become a major convergence point for executives, investors, founders, and industry leaders who increasingly view Africa’s flagship competition as a strategic place to meet partners, explore markets, and advance commercial conversations.

Yet even with this growing interest, networking around AFCON remains largely informal. Most interactions still depend on scattered instant messaging groups, unplanned encounters in fan zones or stadium lounges, and a flood of LinkedIn messages that often become overwhelming and, as a result, go unanswered.

Stadium Circle, a free web-based application created by Africa Scores, is entering the picture to change that dynamic. The platform launched last week with a clear purpose: to give AFCON attendees a more organised, efficient way to connect with the people they came to Morocco hoping to meet. Stadium Circle is designed to bring clarity and structure to an environment that has traditionally lacked both.

Stadium Circle allows users to register their presence at the tournament and gain real-time visibility into who else is attending across host cities and match stages. Once approved, professionals can browse a directory of verified AFCON goers, complete with information on their industry, organisation, and expected movements during the competition.

The platform also curates a list of relevant side events, from corporate receptions to brand activations and private gatherings, giving attendees a central place to identify where meaningful engagement is likely to happen. Its web-based design, two-minute signup process, and no-download approach reflect an understanding of how busy executives prefer to interact with event technology: quickly, simply, and without friction.

For Africa Scores, the impact of Stadium Circle will be seen in the diversity of countries represented on the platform and the amount of connections established. “Our main objective is to demonstrate that major sporting events can become far more than cultural moments for Africa; they can become efficient business platforms,” tells Ndeye Diarra, Africa Scores’ founder.

The launch of Stadium Circle was supported by 10K Sports and Wellness Fund. “Our work at 10k Sports and Wellness is rooted in building a stronger and more connected sports value chain for Africa and its global diaspora.

Stadium Circle embodies this vision by giving professionals a new way to create synergies and value around competitions by making the right connections possible in real time. We are proud to support its launch and the future impact it will generate across the sports industry,” says Uel Migan-Gandonou, Partner at 10K Sports and Wellness Fund.
