Sofapaka forward, Ugandan-based midfielder headline South Sudan squad for AFCON

Calvary FC midfielder Norman Lumumba Eluzi is among the 26 players that will feature for South Sudan at the AFCON Under-20 that kicks off February 19th in Egypt.

Lumumba, who features for the Yumbe district side, will feature alongside another Ugandan-based forward Peter Santos Aparer.

The trio of Jacob Koal (Sofapaka FC), John Bichiok (Nairobi United FC) and Paul Jawa Mara (Rainbow FC) are the only other players based outside South Sudan. The three play in Kenya for their respective clubs.

South Sudan is in Group B alongside Uganda Hippos, Central African Republic and Congo.
