But instead of only blaming defensive errors or missed chances, some fans bizarrely pointed the finger at Nigerian singer Skales.
Inter edge thriller as Barcelona fall short
The second leg at the Giuseppe Meazza mirrored the madness of the first with six goals in regular time and a decisive strike in extra time.
Inter raced to a 2-0 lead through Lautaro Martínez and Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty, before Barcelona fought back.
Eric Garcia’s volley, Dani Olmo’s header, and Raphinha’s blast turned the tie on its head and appeared to have booked a place for Barcelona in the final.
Yet, just when it seemed all said and done, Francesco Acerbi levelled it again, forcing extra time, where Davide Frattesi then broke Catalan hearts with a composed finish to seal Inter’s place in the final.
Skales caught in the crossfire
Following the match, Barcelona fans took aim at Nigerian singer Skales, blaming the “Dance like Lamine Yamal” singer for the team’s bad luck..
Skales!!! Why you go sing “Dance Like Lamine Yamal".

The Nigerian artist had recently gone viral after Yamal danced to his 2014 hit Shake Body during Copa del Rey celebrations.
Skales even met the teen sensation and dropped a new track, Dance Like Lamine Yamal, on May 5, only for Barcelona to be knocked out of the Champions League the very next day.

After Barcelona’s exit, fans jokingly cursed him for bringing bad luck, with one user on X saying, “Barca why? Skales see wetin u don cause.”
Unfortunately for the Blaugrana, the dream of lifting the third treble in the club’s history have died with the Inter defeat, but the team must not turn its attention to the crucial LaLiga tie against Real Madrid this weekend.
